Friday Job Duties:

Interpret Drawings :

Read and analyze architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and engineering specifications.

Material Preparation :

Select, measure, and cut woods, laminates, veneers, and particleboard to exact dimensions.

Machine Operation :

Set up and operate commercial woodworking machinery, including table saws, routers, and power sanders.

Lamination & Finishing :

Apply plastic laminates, edge banding, veneers, and custom finishes to panels and fixtures.

Product Assembly :

Build base cabinets, custom millwork, and complex retail displays using specialized hand and power tools.

Quality Control :

Inspect finished products to ensure strict adherence to tolerances, brand specs, and structural durability.

Safety & Maintenance :

Maintain a clean workstation and follow all OSHA and shop safety guidelines.

Job Requirements:

Experience :

Prefer 4+ years of professional woodworking or commercial casework experience.

Technical Skills :

Deep understanding of cabinetry techniques, hardware installation, and plastic laminate applications.

Tool Proficiency :

Mastery of standard woodshop machinery, manual hand tools, and measurement layout tools.

Physical Stamina :

Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and handle physical workshop demands.

Bonus Skills :

Trade school certifications or experience operating CNC machinery are highly valued. #INDLI
