Pay depends on experience, ability, driving record, and tools Additional job-completion bonuses available Full-time; overtime and frequent out-of-town work should be expected We are looking for an experienced installer for commercial and residential millwork work. Our installs may include cabinets, casework, doors and jambs, interior trim, wall panels, stair parts, and other custom woodwork. This is not a position for someone whose main concern is stretching a job into more hours. We want someone who measures carefully, works steadily, solves problems, and is interested in completing the job correctly and efficiently.

What you will be doing:

Reading plans, elevations, and field dimensions Laying out and installing millwork accurately Scribing, fitting, leveling, shimming, fastening, and making field adjustments Checking materials before and during installation Keeping the work area clean and protecting finished work Catching problems early instead of leaving them for the punch list Helping direct a junior installer or helper when needed Completing final punch work before leaving the job Working in our shop on fabrication and assembly when no installation is scheduled What we are looking for: At least intermediate millwork, cabinet, door, or finish-carpentry experience Ability to complete common installation work without constant supervision Good measuring, layout, and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel out of town frequently Willingness to work long days when the installation schedule requires it Reliable attendance and the ability to arrive ready to work Ability to lift, carry, unload, and install millwork safely A good driving record is a strong plus A CDL is a bonus A reliable means of transportation to work Applicants with their own basic installation tools will receive strong preference. This includes a drill, impact driver, square, tape measure, level, drill bits, hand tools, and similar everyday equipment.

Travel and schedule:

Out-of-town work is a regular part of this job. Install days may involve early starts, long days, and occasional schedule changes based on site conditions. Passenger travel time is normally paid for one leg of the trip. Employees assigned to drive are paid for required driving time. All travel time will be handled in accordance with applicable wage law.

Pay and incentives:

This position receives a guaranteed hourly base rate plus bonuses for completing assigned installations efficiently, accurately, and without avoidable return trips. Speed only counts when the work is correct. Bonuses are based on the planned labor for the job, completion of the assigned scope, acceptable workmanship, a clean punch list, and no callback caused by our installation. Delays caused by missing materials, changes, other trades, or a jobsite that is not ready will not be counted against the installation crew.
