Responsibilities Assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling cabinet components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Install cabinets, closet systems, doors, siding, trim, drywall, and fixtures on residential sites Perform heavy lifting of materials such as wood construction materials, drywall sheets, and siding panels safely and efficiently Support the team in caulking, stucco application, water damage restoration tasks, and mold remediation projects when needed Follow safety protocols including power tool safety procedures during all phases of installation and fabrication Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials on-site while adhering to construction site safety standards Qualifications Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and carpentry Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, or technical drawings with guidance Willingness to learn about construction estimating, framing, metal stud framing, rebar installation, plastering, and flooring installation Prior construction site experience or handyman experience is a plus but not required Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working at heights when necessary Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Commitment to safety practices including proper use of power tools for woodworking and other equipment This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to build a foundation in residential carpentry while contributing to meaningful home improvement projects.
