Check us out on Instagram @nomadsauna. The Role We're hiring an entry-level Sauna Builder to join our production team. No prior woodworking experience is required — we're looking for someone with a growth mindset, a strong work ethic, and a genuine eagerness to learn the craft. This is a hands-on, on-your-feet role in a busy, fast-paced shop environment, and it plays an integral part in the quality of every sauna we build. What You'll Do Handle and cut lumber to precise specifications Thread lumber using a shaper/molder Perform intricate dado cuts Apply proper finishes to wood surfaces Char exterior wood using the traditional yakisugi (shou sugi ban) technique Take pride in and ownership of the finished product at every stage What We're Looking For A growth mindset and eagerness to learn — no formal woodworking skills required Basic general tool knowledge (e.g., drills, saws) preferred Prior manual labor experience is a plus Ability to stand and be on your feet for most of the workday Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced shop environment A team-first attitude and desire to be part of a close-knit crew Compensation & Growth Starting pay is $20/hour, with higher starting pay available for candidates who bring relevant skills or experience.
