Job Description
Residential Cabinet Maker and Wood Worker Job Description Looking for highly experienced residential cabinet maker. Applicant will be producing custom, unique cabinets, furniture, and interior and exterior doors, while using both reclaimed and new lumber. Responsibilities and Duties Build cabinets, interior and exterior doors, furniture, etc. Use the appropriate machines and tools, including but not limited to, shaper, rip saw, planer, slider saw and sanders Delegate tasks to others Follows direction Has managerial skills Finish work (stain, finish, paint) Qualifications & Skills Must be a very experienced cabinet maker with 5+ years of prior residential cabinet shop experience Able to determine the species of both hard and soft wood species Plus if applicant has prior experience working with reclaimed lumber Must be capable of making cut list off of CAD drawings Able to apply stain, finishes, and paints correctly and efficiently Works well with others Requires little to no training in high-end cabinetry making
