Job Description

Summary/Objective Small Pak Operators are responsible for performing the daily required operations functions for a Small Pack Operator, following company policies and procedures, and following the instructions of the department supervisor Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Performs daily operations functions according to Research Solutions Group Operating Procedures Completes operator assignments on the packaging line as assigned Fills containers and cartons as required and according to procedures Performs general low-level housekeeping as directed by the Small Pack supervisor Follows all production safety procedures established by Research Solutions Group Operates a forklift in a safe manner (fork lift training is provided) Performs other duties as directed by Small Pack supervisor Competencies Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Must be capable of handling light equipment and comfortable working in a safe chemical work environment Must be able to follow oral or written instructions Once training is completed, Operators must be able to conduct forklift safety inspections Work Environment This position is performed inside an unconditioned warehouse setting. Physical Demands Must be physically able to lift up to 55 pounds. Must be physically able to bend, stoop, sit and stand for extended periods, and be comfortable climbing low height ladders. Although the packing facility is in a warehouse with ceiling fans, Operators must be capable of working during warm summer temperatures and lower temperatures. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Experience preferred, but not mandatory. Training is provided for entry level applicants
