$20.00/hour Job Summary The Processing Technician supports manufacturing operations by assisting with the production of Prepreg and Adhesive products. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and cleaning of industrial mixing and converting equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and production standards. The technician works closely with the Lead Operator and production team to support daily manufacturing activities and ensure productivity goals are met. This position requires strict adherence to safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies, regulatory requirements, and safe working practices, including the use of required PPE when working with converting equipment and chemicals.
• Operate and support industrial mixing and converting equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Perform equipment setup, operation, and cleaning in accordance with established procedures and production schedules.
• Follow quality standards, operating instructions, and SOPs to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Accurately capture and record data from heat cleaning furnaces, kilns, and presses.
• Ensure ceramic fabric rolls are heat-cleaned and tested prior to production coating.
• Support layup, sheeting, pressing, and sintering of CMC materials as part of the manufacturing process.
• Assist with CNC or laser cutting of sintered materials into finished product forms.
• Maintain organized work areas and support 5S and FOD prevention practices.
• Manage and organize material storage areas, including cold storage at 0°F.
• Communicate any quality concerns, defects, or production issues to the Lead Operator, Supervisor, or Manager.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with process or policy updates as required. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing environment where employees may be exposed to:
• Chemical fumes such as MEK and Ethanol
• Ceramic dust or airborne particles
• Moving mechanical equipment
• Vibrations and loud noise levels Proper PPE and safety procedures must be followed at all times. Physical Requirements The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the role:
• Frequent standing and walking
• Regular use of hands for handling materials and equipment
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, crouch, or climb when necessary
• Ability to lift and move up to 55 lbs regularly
• Strong visual attention including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and color recognition Shifts & Pay
