$20.00-$24.00 per hour Position Summary The Extraction Technician will assist with the day-to-day production of cannabis extracts and concentrates. This role involves operating and maintaining extraction and processing equipment, preparing and handling cannabis material, monitoring production processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with company procedures and Illinois cannabis regulations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a production environment, and able to follow precise procedures consistently. Key Responsibilities Perform cannabis extraction and post-extraction processing according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Prepare, weigh, load, unload, and handle cannabis biomass and extracted materials. Operate extraction, filtration, refinement, and related processing equipment. Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure consistent product quality and yield. Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and work areas. Accurately measure and record materials, production quantities, yields, and other required information. Maintain detailed production and batch records. Follow all safety procedures and company SOPs. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environment. Identify equipment issues, process inconsistencies, or product-quality concerns and communicate them to management. Assist with inventory management and proper storage of cannabis and processing materials. Work closely with other cultivation, manufacturing, packaging, and compliance personnel as needed. Follow all applicable Illinois cannabis laws and regulations. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company processes, products, and proprietary information. Perform other duties related to cannabis manufacturing and extraction as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in cannabis extraction, cannabis manufacturing, laboratory processing, food/beverage manufacturing, chemical processing, or a related production environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to accurately measure, document, and track materials and production information. Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment as required.

Preferred:

Previous experience with cannabis extraction or concentrate production. Experience with hydrocarbon, ethanol, CO₂, or other extraction processes. Cannabis industry experience in Illinois.
