Roasting Department Employee:

Copper Moon Coffee is actively hiring for their roasting department on 2nd. As a roaster you will be working in a teamwork environment to fulfill daily coffee roasting needs. You will also be responsible for routine cleaning of equipment, reading work orders to determine quantities & types of coffee to be roasted, and managing shipping & receiving of coffee product as needed.

Job Duties:

• Record production data regarding process and status of product details.
• Maintain continuity of various roasting profiles.
• Weigh product & prepare for roasting.
• Plan & forecast upcoming orders and roast requirements.
• Perform daily maintenance on burnouts & grinding equipment.

Required Skills:

• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Able to push & pull up to 150 lbs.
• Able to reach in all directions & stand for extended periods of time.
• High attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of tracking inventory.

Desirable Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience working in a production environment.
• Experience working in food manufacturing.
• Forklift operating experience.

Shift Time:
