Job Description

Job Summary The role of this position is to supervise and coordinate activities of Process Technician workers within the production area and other related duties concerning the production of company goods. Duties & Responsibilities Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustment of machines by Process Technicians Trains, coaches, & mentors Process Technicians Conducting of team meetings and passing of relevant company information to team members Conduct team member performance reviews Responsible for scheduling of Process Technicians Coordinates with Human Resources appropriate staffing levels Responsible to meet production goals Monitors plant scrap, standards, productivity, and machine utilization Establishes and maintains training procedures and schedule for new members of departments to ensure that performance goals and targets are met Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality Recommends changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, and or crew Communicates with other Specialists and the Processing Engineer Ensures plant safety Ensures 5s in assigned areas Completes daily/monthly production reports Assists in processing as necessary Assists in maintenance of equipment to keep lines running Creates standard work instructions for assigned areas Conduct countermeasure investigation of incidents that occur in plant Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Experience Minimum of 3 years in Plastic Injections Molding experience Leadership experience Troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation equipment Skills and Abilities Strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts Solid decision making skills High level of focus and professionalism Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to prioritize and ensure no downtime Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Other High School Diploma or GED required Two year degree, technical certificate, or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license
