Job Description

Are you looking for job stability and excellent benefits? Come work with Neat Companies at our NuFlo manufacturing facility! We are searching for HDPE Operators in Training! The HDPE Operator in Training will learn to operate, monitor, and maintain high-density polyethylene (HDPE) extrusion and processing equipment. This entry-level position is designed to provide hands-on training under the guidance of experienced operators, preparing the trainee to independently run production lines while adhering to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Positions are available on 2 nd shift from 3 pm - 11 pm ET and 3 rd shift from 11 pm - 7 am ET.
Duties:
Assist experienced HDPE operators in the setup and operation of extrusion, molding, and cutting equipment. Learn to monitor process variables such as temperature, pressure, and speed to ensure consistent product quality. Observe and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for HDPE production. Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or operational issues. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area, complying with all safety regulations (PPE, lockout/tagout, etc.). Participate in training sessions on quality standards, equipment operation, and troubleshooting techniques. Record production data and maintain accurate logs as required. Support inventory management, including raw materials and finished product handling. Follow environmental and regulatory compliance procedures related to HDPE production.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or willingness to learn. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work in shifts as required. Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
Training and Development:
Hands-on training with experienced operators. Instruction on HDPE extrusion and processing equipment. Safety, quality control, and process optimization training. Opportunity to advance to a full HDPE Operator role upon successful completion of training and demonstration of competency.
