Direct Hire - Full-time About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Production Technicians for a leading paper manufacturing company in Becker, MN. Schedule Requirement:
This position works a rotating 12-hour schedule that includes both day and night shifts. Candidates must be available and willing to work either shift, including weekends and holidays as part of the rotation. What You'll Do as a
Production Technician:
Inspect equipment and controls to spot issues, hazards, or needed repairsClean, maintain, and repair machinery using hand tools or by submitting maintenance work ordersComplete preventative maintenance tasks such as eyewash checks, fire extinguisher inspections, and dust bag removalAssist with machine threading during paper breaksDocument shift information and communicate with supervisors and incoming operatorsHelp train team members to support production, quality, and machine uptimeOperate mobile equipment such as forklifts, roll clamps, bale clamps, and skid steersMonitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) including chemical refills, sludge removal, and filter changesMove and stage paper rolls using RF scanners for accurate trackingOperate cranes and hoists to move spools and rollsPrepare rolls for production and load them into the turret unwind systemAssist with coating prep and cleanup including mixing coatings and washing totesWhat You Need to Bring to the
Production Technician Role:
