Role Overview Support the filling, capping, and lyophilization processes to ensure production efficiency. Observe operational workflows and flag any unusual incidents or deviations. Assist in the mechanical preparation of equipment within sterile zones. Utilize precision tools like pipettes and scales to verify fill volumes and specific gravity, ensuring product consistency. Conduct routine monitoring of the production environment. Master and implement APHIS and USDA standards to support assembly operations. Maintain precise and thorough documentation in total compliance with GMP and SOP guidelines.
Shift Details Third shift:
Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays is required. Core Responsibilities Manage the transfer of sterile components using validated techniques to maintain equipment integrity. Develop a strong grasp of aseptic principles and sterilization methods. Execute fill schedules to ensure we meet all client requirements and deadlines. Maintain accurate inventory records using our management software. Apply RFT methodologies to improve process reliability. Support the operation of SIP and CIP systems where necessary. Utilize EWI and SCADA systems to monitor production parameters. Assist in maintaining high standards of lab cleanliness. Report any issues regarding work orders to ensure smooth operations. Take full ownership of operating fill suites. Manage lyophilizer operations through the Micromax/SCADA interface. Independently operate capping machinery. Perform mechanical setups in aseptic areas to support team throughput. Contribute to the maintenance of batch records, JTCs, and SOPs. Engage in cross-training initiatives across the manufacturing floor. Participate in specialized project groups, including Kaizen, RFT, or safety committees. Execute basic maintenance, repairs, and equipment disassembly to minimize downtime. Utilize keen observation to identify and address quality concerns. Requirements and Qualifications Completion of high school or equivalent education. Proven ability to perform basic mechanical tasks. Proficiency in using personal computers. Communication and Technical Skills Demonstrate clear and effective verbal communication. Read and interpret technical instructions, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures. Foster strong collaboration with team leaders and colleagues. Ensure all documentation is legible and accurate to maintain compliance. Mathematical Competencies Perform arithmetic operations across various units of measure. Execute conversions within the metric system. Utilize basic math to manage inventory and complete controlled documentation. Set up and operate weighing equipment in both metric and standard formats. Reasoning and Interpersonal Abilities Interpret and execute instructions provided in oral, written, or diagrammatic form. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
