Full Job Description Acid Wash Operator Location:

Our extensive facilities feature state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated cleanrooms to ensure the highest standards of quality and precision. Responsibilities Prepare, load, wash, rinse, and unload quartz glass parts according to work instructions. Handle hydrofluoric acid and other process chemicals only after completing required training and receiving authorization. Inspect parts for cleanliness, visible defects, and damage before and after washing. Verify part numbers, quantities, and job requirements; document completed work. Use designated chemical handling equipment, ventilation, and protective equipment as instructed. Keep chemical containers labeled and work areas clean and organized. Report spills, equipment problems, damaged protective equipment, and any suspected chemical exposure immediately. Follow procedures for chemical storage, waste handling, and emergency response. Assist with other production tasks as assigned. Qualifications Manufacturing, chemical processing, or quartz glass experience preferred. Ability to read and follow written instructions, chemical labels, and safety data sheets. Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow safety procedures consistently. Ability to stand for extended periods and safely move parts and containers within established lifting requirements. Ability to wear the protective equipment required for the assigned process.
Safety requirement:
Employees must complete site-specific hydrofluoric acid training before working with the chemical. Any suspected exposure must be reported immediately, even if there is no immediate pain or visible injury.
