Madison, Wisconsin Chemical Analysis Division How Will You Make an Impact?: The Lead Test Technician position will be responsible for the alignment and testing of various complex scientific instruments to support the production goals of a work cell. You will be part of an engaging team and collaborate with your colleagues to solve problems and drive continuous improvement! Responsibilities Complete alignment and testing of assemblies and instruments to ensure they meet all quality standards while frequently exceeding productivity goals. Follow work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies, material handling, and inventory verification. Possesses the ability to effectively work across multiple products and production cells. Brings valuable knowledge to help NPI launches. Communicates effectively with team members, other support functions, and leadership. Contributes and influences others toward a positive team culture. Required Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, or production setting. Preferred Experience Associates or bachelor's degree in related field. Progressive experience with test result analysis in manufacturing and troubleshooting quality issues. Demonstrated prior success as a trainer and peer leader. Physical Requirements / Work Environment May require exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.What We Offer:
