Job Description

KP Staffing is now hiring CNC operators in North Phoenix (near Happy Valley)! Job Summary The CNC operator will operate CNC and manual machines to manufacture gears and components while ensuring compliance with quality standards and production requirements. This is a direct hire opportunity that includes machine operation, in-process inspection, documentation for traceability, and adherence to
ISO 9000
quality system procedures. Pay $23
  • $25 per hour/depending on experience Shift 3rd shift: 10 p.m.
  • 6:30 a.m., Monday
  • Friday Must be flexible to train on 1st or 2nd shift for 2 weeks or longer 1st shift training hours: 6 a.m.
  • 2:30 p.m. 2nd shift training hours: 3 p.m.
  • 12 a.
m. Duties Operate multiple machines simultaneously to produce components according to production schedules Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation and workplace safety Conduct in-process inspections, including measuring parts using appropriate tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and gear CMM Record inspection results accurately in production and quality logs Ensure all parts meet engineering specifications and quality requirements Replace cutting tools and inserts as needed to maintain machining quality and efficiency Maintain complete and accurate traceability records for all produced parts in accordance with company and ISO requirements Observe all safety requirements Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions Support and comply with
ISO 9000
quality management system requirements Identify and report quality or production issues to supervisors Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles Perform machine setup changes including tooling, offsets, and basic program adjustments Use basic troubleshooting skills to address machining process issues Qualifications Pass a background check and drug test High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience operating CNC or similar machining equipment Experience machining precision components Lathe experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Familiarity with blueprint reading and GD&T Experience working under ISO 9000 or similar quality systems Job Type Direct Hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Phoenix for an in-person interview.
