Your responsibilities will include:
Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and program verification. Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, horizontal mills, VBM machines, and other CNC equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions. Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other inspection tools. Produce parts that meet quality standards and customer specifications. Identify machining or quality issues and work with supervisors, engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve them. Perform preventative maintenance and routine machine care. Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate production records. Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies, ISO quality procedures, and environmental standards. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving machining challenges. You take ownership of your work and are committed to producing quality parts safely and efficiently. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience Experience performing complete machine setup and operation Experience with editing CNC programming is required Strong experience with: CNC Milling CNC Turning Horizontal Milling Vertical Boring Mills (VBM) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and metrology Ability to select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding Knowledge of conventional milling and turning is considered an asset Graduate of a technical school or equivalent experience Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail Mechanical aptitude Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement Physical Requirements Standing and walking throughout the shift Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a manufacturing environmentShift Afternoon Shift:
Monday- Friday 10:00 AM
