You will receive hands-on training and mentorship, allowing you to develop your skills in operating CNC machinery and understanding the intricacies of machining processes. Get ready to dive into a world where innovation meets craftsmanship! What you'll do Operate CNC milling machines and lathes under supervision, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Participate in quality control processes, inspecting finished products for accuracy and compliance with specifications. Collaborate with experienced machinists to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Engage in continuous learning about manufacturing techniques, tooling, and mechanical knowledge. Basic qualifications A strong interest in manufacturing and machining processes. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Familiarity with hand tools and assembly line operations is a plus. Preferred qualifications Experience or coursework in CNC programming or operation is advantageous. Familiarity with Fanuc systems or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Previous factory or warehouse experience will be considered an asset.
