Machine Mfg. located 30 miles east of Sacramento is searching for experienced CNC machinists to join our team. We are a very family-oriented machining company that specializes in CNC turning and milling primarily for the Aerospace/Defense industry. ZI Machine Manufacturing is looking for a dependable CNC Machine Operator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has CNC machine operating experience and wants to build their machining skills in a stable, quality-focused shop. You will primarily be responsible for: Loading and unloading CNC machines Running established CNC programs Monitoring machines during production Performing basic in-process inspections Making basic tool/wear offsets as needed Using calipers, micrometers and other inspection equipment Identifying problems and communicating with the setup machinist or Quality Control Keeping machines and work areas clean and organized Following setup sheets, work instructions and inspection requirements Moving between CNC mills and lathes as production needs require What we're looking for CNC machine operating experience preferred Manufacturing or machining experience is a plus Ability to read basic blueprints Basic understanding of measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Ability to follow written instructions and setup sheets Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Good attention to detail Willingness to learn both CNC milling and turning Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with setup machinists and Quality Control You do not need to be an expert machinist to apply.
