Setup repeat and new CNC programs on CNC mills. Minimum 5 years experience in setting up 3, 4 and 5 axis machines preferred. Ability to read drawings, inspect own work, verify cutting tool condition, make offset adjustments, interpret and carry out instructions typically found on Travelers, Set-up Instructions, Tool Lists, procedures, and other work instructions. Working knowledge of CNC mills and/or lathes including basic machine control operation of cycle start, feed hold, emergency stop, single block, feed override and G-Code editing. Working knowledge of various cutting tools such as endmills, drills, taps etc. Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, depth micrometers, etc. Ability to read and understand drawings containing Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
