About A marine manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate both CNC Composite Cloth Cutting Machines and CNC Routers to produce precision-cut materials used in boatbuilding operations. On-site Compensation & Benefits $17-21/hour, based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Referral program Duties & Responsibilities Operate CNC Composite Cloth Cutting Machines and CNC Routers to cut materials for boatbuilding operations. Prepare, set up, and operate CNC equipment for cutting, drilling, grinding, milling, and other machining tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production. Translate work instructions into machine commands and load programs as required. Load raw materials onto CNC machines and remove completed parts. Perform test runs and verify machine settings before beginning production. Monitor machine operation throughout production and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications. Retrieve, stock, and organize cut materials for production. Monitor inventory levels and assist with maintaining adequate stock of materials. Perform daily startup, shutdown, and routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment functionality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications & Skills Previous CNC machine operating experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work orders. Basic computer skills with knowledge of CNC programming and CAD/CAM. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and math skills. Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform quality inspections. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while following safety procedures. Ability to perform physical work, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and working in a hot, non-air-conditioned warehouse. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
