Job Description:
CNC Operator- Uses Gerber cutter to cut patterns on materials.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must maintain Gerber cutter's maintenance and uploads of new patterns. Sometimes, by hand, you will need to trace patterns onto pre-stacked materials. Organize the kit pieces by part number/boat and stack them onto shelves for the operators. Inspect all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards. Keep the work area clean and orderly. Any other duties as assigned by management. Skills and abilities for success in this position: Give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, and ask questions as appropriate. Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents. Manage one's own time and respect the time of others. Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Must be able to work effectively individually or with a team. Must be able to perform tasks under time pressure deadlines. Must have strong attention to detail. The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
