Driving Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are an exterior millwork designer and manufacturer with a full line of exterior products. We use the latest technology and machinery to create high-end exteriors throughout Florida, the US, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. We are currently seeking a candidate to join our team as a CNC Operator. This is a full-time position requiring 47-50 hours a week that offers competitive pay based on experience and opportunity for advancement. This is a fast-paced job requiring a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency, high energy and the ability to think and problem solve at a high level.
Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and work orders.
  • Drive forklift to retrieve palletized raw materials
  • forklift experience required.
  • Load and position proper material to be machined onto CNC.
  • Select and load correct programs and tooling required for each operation.
  • Monitor machinery and material to ensure compliance with quality standards and detect programming issues.
  • Measure machined parts ensuring accuracy in accordance with shop drawings
  • Manual processing, preparation and labelling of machined parts.
  • Fill out paperwork which includes material usage, program run times and other information pertaining to work order completion.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance to machinery in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with management and coworkers to achieve company goals.
  • Follow procedures and standard practice to obtain maximum efficiency.
  • Display awareness to maximize the utilization of materials and minimize waste.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Experience:
  • Highly proficient computer skills.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Conceptual skills.
  • Written and verbal communication.
  • Assist in process improvements for the reduction of defects, reduction of cycle times and the reduction of costs.
  • Desire to increase product dependability and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with CNC routers.
Overtime required. Hourly rate is based on experience and skills.
