Full Job Description Position:
CNC Lathe Operator Shift:
(1st & 3rd Shift)

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced CNC Lathe Operators to join a growing precision manufacturing team in Westfield, Indiana. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and making minor program edits on CNC lathes while ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards are consistently achieved.
Shift Requirements:
The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. 1st
Shift:
6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday 3rd
Shift:
8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday night through Thursday morning Overtime opportunities are typically scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathes and related equipment Perform minor CNC program edits and tool offset adjustments Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions Utilize precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges Verify part dimensions and maintain quality standards throughout production Monitor machining operations including turning, drilling, grooving, threading, and facing Troubleshoot machining issues and make process adjustments as needed Replace and maintain tooling to ensure optimal machine performance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of CNC Lathe operating experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using precision measuring equipment Strong math skills including decimals, fractions, and basic geometry Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment
Preferred:
CNC setup experience Experience making program edits at the machine Knowledge of GD&T Multi-axis CNC lathe experience Precision machining or high-volume manufacturing experience If you have CNC lathe experience, can work the required shift hours/schedule and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a respected precision manufacturing company, we encourage you to apply.
