Job Description
Overview IMMI is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team!
Schedule:
Fridays (6:30 am- 5:00 pm) and Saturdays (7:00 am
- 3:00 pm)
Weekend Bonus:
You will be able to earn an extra $100 weekly through our attendance bonus that can be earned by showing up on time both days. Responsibilities- Set up and operate brake press/laser machines to bend, shape, and form metal components according to blueprint specifications.
- Adjust machine settings, including pressure, speed, and stroke, to achieve the desired output.
- Perform tooling changes, alignments, and adjustments for different jobs.
- Identify and correct defects or discrepancies in the finished products.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine appropriate machine setup and operation.
- Ability to use Protractors and Calipers
- Set up laser cutting or engraving machines by loading material, aligning, and calibrating the laser beam.
- Adjust machine settings (such as laser speed, intensity, and focal point) based on material type and project requirements.
- Operate laser machinery to cut, weld, or engrave materials according to technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, protractors) to verify the accuracy of cuts and engravings.
- Perform routine maintenance on laser machines, including cleaning lenses, replacing worn parts, and lubricating components.
- Receiving DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) and using it to guide the laser in cutting or engraving of material Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge to understand machine operations
- Proficiency in blueprint reading for accurate part production
- Experience with assembling and disassembling tooling on press brake machines
- Familiarity with crane operation for material handling
- Knowledge of stamping press operations is a plus
- Previous experience with milling machines, electrical discharge machining (EDM), CNC machines, and various tooling types
