About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Lead Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in CNC milling and turning to produce high-quality components, ensuring our production output meets rigorous standards and tight tolerances. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and operate CNC machinery to manufacture precision parts according to technical specifications. Interpret intricate blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure absolute accuracy in every production run. Utilize advanced metrology tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to verify that all components adhere to strict quality benchmarks. Proactively manage tooling health and make necessary offsets to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime. Collaborate with the production team to streamline workflows and achieve consistent throughput targets. Maintain a pristine and safe workspace, adhering to established quality management system protocols. Drive continuous improvement by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing effective technical solutions. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in a professional CNC machining environment. Demonstrated proficiency in operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes. Advanced ability to read blueprints and perform precision measurements. Strong understanding of CNC machine controllers and the ability to troubleshoot operational issues independently. Proven track record of reliability and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Preferred Skills Experience working within an
ISO 9001
certified manufacturing facility. Background in high-volume production environments requiring tight-tolerance machining. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and efficiency. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to shop floor challenges.
