Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Your expertise will help ensure our production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to strict quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about machining, manufacturing, and continuous improvement. Duties Operate CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other automated equipment such as Fanuc controls to produce precision components. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication of parts. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and modify programs as needed for optimal performance. Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments; interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications. Maintain safety standards in accordance with industry regulations; operate forklifts and hand tools safely within the manufacturing environment. Support fabrication processes such as stamping presses, press brake machines, and materials handling to assist in assembly line operations when required. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (Fanuc preferred), CAM programming, blueprint reading, and technical drawing interpretation. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and perform basic machine maintenance. Familiarity with shop math including calculations related to dimensions, tolerances, and material properties. Experience working with precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers; understanding of GD&T principles for quality control purposes. Ability to interpret production documents accurately while adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with fabrication processes such as stamping presses or press brake machines is a plus. Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks is advantageous for understanding design specifications.
