Job Description

CNC Operator Location:
Three Rivers, Michigan Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
1st Shift
  • Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Fridays off
  • enjoy a 3-day weekend!
CDR Prosurce is seeking a reliable CNC Operator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role focuses on operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. CNC programming experience is not required. This is a great opportunity for someone with machining experience looking for a long-term position with a stable company.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications
  • Load raw materials and remove finished parts from machines
  • Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and job instructions
  • Monitor machine performance and ensure quality standards
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Perform minor machine adjustments as needed
  • Report equipment or quality issues to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Qualifications:
  • Previous CNC lathe or machining experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and job instructions
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs when necessary
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
