Experience Requirements Previous CNC machining, machine operation, or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing orders Experience using precision measurement tools and hand tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and identify production variances Willingness to cross-train on multiple machines and processes Job Duties Load and unload parts into CNC machines Operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently Read and follow manufacturing orders and blueprints Inspect finished parts to ensure customer specifications are met Use precision measuring devices to verify quality standards Load programs into CMM machines Perform deburring, tumbling, packing, assembly, punching, and bending tasks Complete basic machine maintenance, including chip removal and coolant monitoring Troubleshoot machine errors and part variances Operate manual machining equipment as needed Support 5S, QRM, and continuous improvement initiatives Communicate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards throughout the facility Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a CNC Machine Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
