Job Description

Anderson Dahlen is seeking CNC Lathe Operators to set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes producing custom stainless steel components for food, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications. You will read and interpret blueprints, select tooling, load programs, and perform precision measurements to ensure parts meet tight tolerances. Responsibilities include adjusting offsets, troubleshooting machining issues, and performing routine machine maintenance. Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to improve processes, uphold strict safety and quality standards, and contribute to a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce stainless steel components to specification Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Load programs, select tooling, and adjust machine offsets for optimal performance Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and verify tolerances Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC equipment Follow strict safety, quality, and cleanliness standards Collaborate with engineers and fabricators on process improvements Required Skills CNC lathe operation G-code understanding Machine setup and tooling selection Blueprint and technical drawing reading Use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) basics Troubleshooting machining issues Basic CNC program editing Preventive maintenance on CNC machinery Adherence to safety and quality standards
