Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate CNC lathes or Mills, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to determine machining requirements. Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job. Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to inspect finished products for accuracy. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with team members for tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Previous experience operating CNC machines is required; familiarity with Mazak/Mitsubishi/Fanuc controls is preferred. Knowledge of machining processes, including turning machines. Experience in a warehouse setting is a plus, particularly with forklift operation. Proficiency in reading technical drawings is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. one year in similar position, mechanical aptitude, effective computer use, basic Math skills, independent decision-making, and effective self-management.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Above plus - Strong Computer and math skills, and three or more years of relevant experience gained through on the job instruction, apprenticeship programs, and increasingly more complex assignments, strong mechanical aptitude as demonstrated through success at increasingly more complex assignments.
