ClaroLux CNC Operator Monday through Thursday 7:00AM to 6:00PM ( M-Th ) (Friday's As Needed) Additional overtime may be required based on production requirements.

Job Description:

Correctly run machined parts on CNC Mills/ Lathes to meet daily production goals. Tools and Machinery may include but not limited to: Fanuc CNC mills, Haas CNC lathes, Dual Spindle Lathes w/ live tooling, Haas tool room lathe, CNC metal spinning machine and other manual machines including Bridgeport mills, engine lathes, drill presses, sanders, etc.

Skills:

Maintain part production while accurately inspecting parts dimensionally following the ClaroLux manufacturing inspection guidelines. Must be able to make basic offset adjustments. Ability to read, understand, and diagnose proven work instructions. Ability to use QA tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Ex:

Micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc... Ability to read and understand dimensional tolerances and geometric tolerances from blueprints. Regularly performs milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding tasks. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and follow up with clarifying questions. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Great attitude and highly motivated Punctual and Reliable Ability to do basic math, convert decimals etc... Ability to lift 50lbs or more Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Good technical and math skills. 2 years on the job machining experience PREFERED or hard working individual with a desire to learn and grow as a machinist Bonus qualifications: Fluent in setup, problem solving, G&M coding, and manual machining. Ability to read and understand most G&M — CNC codes ; ability to diagnose and correct dimensional errors in machine programming Ability to read, understand, and diagnose CNC programs Ability to hold tolerances of .0005 - .001 Ability to read and understand dimensional tolerances and geometric tolerances from blueprints. Compare those tolerances to parts produced to determine if there are any errors.
