Job Description

About the Role As a Precision CNC Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing success by executing complex metal fabrication tasks. You will leverage your expertise in CNC programming and manual machining to ensure high-quality output, driving efficiency and precision across our production floor. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and perform minor CNC programming and G-code edits to ensure production quality. Operate multiple CNC and manual machines simultaneously to maximize throughput and meet scheduling goals. Validate program accuracy by running sample parts and performing rigorous quality inspections against technical drawings. Design and fabricate custom work-holding fixtures to enhance process safety and part consistency. Maintain precise inventory levels of raw materials and components using established tracking procedures. Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure long-term operational reliability. Collaborate with the team by cross-training colleagues and sharing technical expertise to improve overall shop performance. Document production data and quality testing results accurately to support continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 3-5 years of hands-on experience with CNC and manual machining equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints. Strong command of precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers. Solid understanding of work-holding systems, tooling, and industrial safety protocols. Ability to lift at least 30 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with machine operation. Preferred Skills Associate Degree in CNC Machining or related technical field. Hands-on experience with GibbsCAM software. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple machines in a high-volume environment.
