Experienced CNC Lathe Operator Euclid, OH 44117 From $25 an hour - Part-time From $25 an hour - Part-time Experienced CNC Lathe Operator Job Summary We are looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Operator who takes pride in their work and thrives in a results-driven environment. This role is for someone who doesn't just run parts — but actively improves processes, solves problems, and takes ownership of their work from start to finish. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision components Interpret blueprints and complex engineering drawings to determine machining operations Develop creative solutions to improve processes and ensure consistent, high-quality results Perform machining operations such as drilling, grinding, and milling Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Apply GD&T principles to ensure accuracy and compliance Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues independently What You Bring Proven experience operating CNC machines (not an entry-level role) Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment Ability to read and understand complex prints and geometric tolerances Experience dialing in precision bores to within .0005" using boring heads Familiarity with metrology equipment, including profilometers (e.g., measuring 16 Ra finishes) Strong math skills and attention to detail — paperwork must be accurate every time Comfortable using hand tools and precision instruments The Mindset We're Looking For A proactive, "figure it out" attitude — you don't wait for direction Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and results Accountability and pride in your work Strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance Willingness to both learn and share knowledge with others Who This Role Is NOT For This position is not suited for individuals who: Need constant supervision or step-by-step direction Struggle with accountability or consistency Prefer routine without thinking critically or improving processes Why Join Us You'll be part of a team that values skill, initiative, and results.
