Full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity Great benefits upon permanent hire As a CNC Mill Setup / Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong setup experience, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage machining processes while maintaining tight tolerances.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC Milling machines (vertical and/or horizontal machining centers) Install and align fixtures, vises, and other workholding devices Load tooling and establish tool offsets, speeds and feeds Read and interpret blue prints Perform program edits and adjustments as needed Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process checking using precision measuring tools Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency Troubleshoot machining, tooling, or setup issues as they arise
Qualifications and Requirements :
Minimum 5 years of CNC Mill setup and operation experience Experience with vertical and/or horizontal machining centers (VMC /HMC) Strong understand of tooling, fixturing and part setup Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience making program edits at the machine Strong inspection skills using micrometers, calipers and gauges
