Job Description

CNC Mill Operator Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to support our machining operations for CNC Mills. This role works closely with mechanical engineers and shop-floor personnel to develop efficient programs, support production, and ensure parts are manufactured to specification and quality standards. Primary Responsibilities Support daily production by coordinating with CNC operators and helping manage machining schedules Provide technical and engineering support to production and operations teams Review finished components to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality requirements Analyze machining processes to improve efficiency, cycle times, and overall performance Inspect and verify incoming parts from external vendors for quality and accuracy Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and contractors throughout the manufacturing process Review production and machine capabilities for new or revised designs Assist with estimating costs, lead times, and labor requirements for new projects Train and support production staff on new programs, processes, or machining methods Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Solid understanding of machining methods and CNC operations Experience using common measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances Benefits We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance Optional supplemental life and additional benefits at group rates Paid holidays Vacation eligibility based on length of service 401(k) retirement plan with employer match (25% of employee contributions up to 6%) Compensation Compensation is based on experience, skill level, and overall qualifications.
