Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator-CNC to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting will ensure high-quality production standards are met efficiently and safely. Duties Set up CNC machining equipment, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers, ensuring proper calibration and tooling. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to accurately produce parts according to specifications. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust programs as needed for optimal performance. Operate various machinery such as stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses while adhering to safety standards. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to verify dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow. Maintain detailed records of machine operation, maintenance logs, and quality control inspections in compliance with manufacturing protocols. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and related equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code; familiarity with CAM software is preferred. Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators; understanding of GD&T principles. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Basic shop math skills necessary for fabrication, assembly, and materials handling tasks. Experience working with CAD software such as SolidWorks is a plus for understanding design specifications. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable; knowledge of packaging and assembly line processes is advantageous.
