Responsibilities:
Read production orders, gauges, blueprints, and material specifications. Translate detailed part drawings into measurements for production. Operate CNC machinery and regularly perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, and sawing. Inspect finished parts using the appropriate gauging techniques. Perform traceability marking and maintain accurate documentation. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed. Perform basic equipment and tooling maintenance and upkeep. Assist in other work areas and perform fabrication duties as needed. Follow all safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a CNC Operator or completion of a CNC program through a technical or trade school. Strong math skills, including decimals and fractions. Knowledge of CNC machine operation, maintenance, tooling, and equipment. Mechanically inclined with basic machinery and tooling knowledge. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Ability to interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures. Basic computer skills. High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
