People Source OKC is Hiring -
We are currently seeking 1 experienced candidate who can operate Mazak CNC equipment and develop into working with minimal supervision. Additional Machinist openings may become available as training progresses.
Pay ranges from $25.00-$30.00/hour, with the potential to pay more for a candidate with advanced Mazak CNC machining experience.
Job ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate Mazak CNC machinesMachine components according to drawings, specifications, and tolerancesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsSelect appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments as neededLoad materials and properly position parts for machiningMonitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and qualityUse precision measuring instruments to inspect completed partsVerify dimensions and tolerances throughout the machining processIdentify and troubleshoot machining or tooling issuesPerform routine machine and work-area maintenanceMaintain accurate production and quality documentationFollow all company machining and shop safety proceduresRequirementsPrevious CNC machining experience requiredMazak CNC operating experience strongly preferredAbility to set up and operate CNC equipment with decreasing supervision as training progressesAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsUnderstanding of machining tolerances and measurementsExperience using precision measuring toolsStrong mechanical aptitudeStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to troubleshoot basic machining issuesDependable attendance and punctuality requiredAbility to work safely and independently in a machine shop environmentPrevious oil and gas manufacturing experience is a plus but not requiredImportant Note - Safety Sensitive RoleThis position is classified as Safety Sensitive under Oklahoma law (O.S. § 63-427.8).Individuals with a valid medical marijuana license may be disqualified from consideration.
