Job Description
Overview A growing manufacturing company in the Delaware County, PA area is seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators to join its production team. These are direct hire opportunities with openings on both 2nd and 3rd shift. This is a strong opportunity for candidates with true hands-on CNC experience, including machine setup, tool changes, offsets, troubleshooting, and quality checks. The company is looking for operators who have done more than basic loading/unloading or button-pushing and are comfortable working with custom materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift:
1:30 PM - 10:00 PM 3rdShift:
9:30 PM - 6:00 AM Overtime is expected through early September 2026, with additional overtime often available after that based on business needs. Duties Operate CNC machinery in a production manufacturing environment. Perform machine setup, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed. Run programs and troubleshoot machine or process issues during production. Work with custom aluminum extrusions that may change from project to project. Use tape measures, calipers, and other basic inspection tools to verify part dimensions. Read measurements accurately, ideally from 1/32" and up. Maintain quality standards and ensure finished parts meet customer and project requirements. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Support quality control, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production schedules. Communicate issues with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and production teams as needed. Requirements Prior machine shop or CNC machine operation experience required. Must have true hands-on CNC experience, including setup, tool changes, offsets, and troubleshooting. Experience operating and maintaining high-speed machinery is strongly preferred. Ability to read a tape measure accurately to at least 1/16"; ability to read 1/32" and up is preferred. Experience using calipers and basic measuring tools. Ability to work with changing/custom materials and adjust to different project requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to troubleshoot, learn quickly, and retain training. Strong attendance, reliability, and willingness to work overtime when needed. Experience with aluminum, custom extrusions, Comet equipment, Satellite equipment, or similar machinery is a plus. Candidates from traditional machine shops are encouraged to apply if they have strong hands-on CNC experience.Pay:
