We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Team Lead to help oversee daily production activities, support CNC operators and machinists, maintain workflow, and ensure jobs are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who has strong CNC experience and wants to take the next step into a leadership role. Position Summary The CNC Machine Team Lead will provide day-to-day leadership and technical support to a team of CNC machine operators and machinists. This person will help coordinate production, troubleshoot machining issues, monitor quality, and ensure employees are following established processes and production schedules. The ideal candidate is a strong CNC machinist who can lead by example, communicate effectively, solve problems, and keep production moving. Key Responsibilities Lead and support CNC machine operators and machinists on a daily basis Help organize and prioritize work according to the production schedule Monitor job progress and communicate delays or issues to management Assist with CNC machine setups, tooling, offsets, and adjustments Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and inspection requirements Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues Verify first-piece and in-process parts meet specifications Help ensure operators are following proper work instructions and procedures Assist with training and coaching less-experienced employees Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency Help identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce scrap, and increase productivity Ensure proper use of measuring equipment and inspection procedures Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment Help enforce safety, quality, attendance, and production expectations Communicate effectively with Production Management, Quality, Engineering, and other departments Step in and operate CNC equipment when needed Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

3+ years of CNC machining or CNC machine operation experience Strong understanding of CNC machining processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to use precision measuring equipment Strong problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred:
