Overview:

The CNC Operator runs CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications, ensuring consistent quality and efficient production flow. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC mills/lathes according to daily production schedule Load raw materials, run programs, and monitor machine performance Perform basic offsets, tool changes, and adjustments Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Document production data and report deviations Maintain equipment cleanliness and follow safety procedures Qualifications 1+ year CNC machine operation experience (or technical school equivalent) Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools Basic understanding of G‑code and machining processes Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment Preferred Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak controls Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance
