CNC Machinist / Programmer (Mastercam) AEI Fabrication | Mesa, AZ Join a precision manufacturing team where quality matters. AEI Fabrication is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer who enjoys producing high-quality precision components and takes pride in doing the job right. If you have experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment in a fast-paced job shop environment, we'd like to meet you. This is a hands-on position where you'll work on a wide variety of projects supporting the aerospace, defense, medical, and commercial industries. What You'll Do Program, set up, and operate CNC machining centers. Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam. Read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and GD&T. Select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for efficient production. Perform complete machine setups and load raw materials. Inspect first articles, in-process parts, and finished components using precision measuring equipment. Make machine and program adjustments to maintain quality, efficiency, and dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements. Record production information in our ERP system. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Cross-train and assist in other manufacturing areas as needed. What We're Looking For 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment. Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC machining centers. Mastercam experience is required . Haas and/or Mazak machining experience preferred. Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills. Experience using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges. Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and mathematical skills. ERP experience is a plus. Experience working in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environment preferred. Dependable, quality-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Machinist apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
