Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Programmer with aerospace experience to join our growing precision manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for programming complex parts, optimizing machining processes, and supporting production on modern CNC equipment. Check more about

https://mfg.nytron.aero/careers/ Responsibilities Program both 2D and 3D components utilising either MasterCAM and/or HSM Inventor (Experience with SolidWorks a plus) Continuous Improvement focus on optimising the efficiency of the CNC equipment operations through optimisation of programming. Read and Interpret Drawings and Part Specifications (GD&T Experience is a must). Assist in the management of work flow and capacity efficiencies. Communicate cross-functionally with all areas of the operations in a strategic role that requires multi-tasking on a day to day basis Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of CNC equipment Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job, ensuring optimal performance Handle materials safely, including loading, unloading, and moving raw materials or finished parts within the workshop Conduct quality checks on machined components to verify dimensions and tolerances Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety standards Requirements 5+ years experience programming CNC Equipment in a custom or non-production machining environment. Minimum of 8-years CNC machining experience in a job-shop environment2D and 3D programming experience utilizing either MasterCAM and/or HSM Inventor. Ability to read and interpret drawings and part specifications (GD&T experience is a must) Knowledge of high speed cutting tools, speeds, feeds, etc. Exhibits a positive attitude & is open-minded Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations required during setup and production processes Experience with welding, assembly, or warehouse operations is beneficial but not essential Good understanding of materials properties and machining techniques to optimise efficiency and quality
