Full Job Description Overall Purpose:
The Sr. CNC Programmer is responsible to write and prove new and existing programs to ensure dimensionally correct machined components. They will need to interpret both drawings as well as 3d models to produce machine instruction and tool selection to ensure both machine efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Program CNC Machines utilizing Mastercam for both Mills and Lathes Review incoming job orders and prepare programs per revision The ability to work with machinists to produce efficient and accurate programs with existing equipment Perform file maintenance Perform First Article Inspection, including molds and segment inspection as required Enter SPC jobs into the computer Collect SPC data on the computer Send and retrieve programs from the main computer Complete daily paperwork Ability to set-up mills and lathes Perform complete inspection of parts Read blue prints Crosstrain in other areas as needed Clean work areas Follow both verbal and written instructions Adhere to 5S Standards Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safety
