DUTIES INCLUDE
Perform machine set up and shut down. Program parts for machining. Operate CNC machine. Perform routine maintenance on machine. Interpret part prints and step files using Solidworks. Deburr and polish parts. Request raw materials and tooling as necessary. Work with Development Department on new designs. Quality check manufactured parts. Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of CNC tooling and related hardware. Skilled in verbal communication Ability to read part prints. Accomplish work utilizing and abiding by ISO requirements and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Solidworks, and Camworks programs. Knowledge of FANUC G-code programming. Knowledge of Haas controls. Able to lift 50+ lbs. Succeeds in self-management. Strong problem-solving ability.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Machinist Associate's Degree Preferred 4-5 years of experience in related field Experience Using BobCAM software is a Plus Experience Using Haas brand 3 Axis Mill's is a Plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Fine motor skills for handling small parts and tools.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noise, dust, and machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
