In this energetic role, you will be the driving force behind the creation of precise, high-quality parts by developing and optimizing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs for a variety of machining equipment. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to strict quality standards, and continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills and mechanical knowledge can shine, this opportunity is perfect for you! Duties Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for milling machines and lathes, including 5-axis CNC machines, using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as MasterCam, CATIA, or similar tools. Interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics accurately, applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards to ensure precise machining. Set up machining tools and fixtures, ensuring proper tooling selection based on project requirements and CNC tooling specifications. Conduct machining tool setup, calibration, and adjustments to produce components within tight tolerances using precision measurement instruments like bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Perform quality control checks during manufacturing using measurement tools to verify dimensions and surface finishes meet specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, tooling setups, inspection reports, and process improvements aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Abe to work with operators and other staff. team player, Monday-Friday 40+hrs a week. Pay based on experience.
