H&H Machining Center, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior CNC Prototype Machinist/Programmer to join our precision machining team in Valencia, CA. This role is built for a versatile machinist who can both write programs from scratch and independently set up, prove out, and run CNC turning centers AND machining centers — producing low-volume, first-article, and prototype parts to exacting tolerances. • Develop, optimize, and prove out CNC programs for both CNC turning centers and vertical/horizontal machining centers.
• Perform complete machine setups on lathes and mills: load tools, set offsets, touch off work offsets, and verify accuracy before first-piece runs.
• Program complex turned and milled features using Mastercam or Fusion 360 and edit G-code/M-code directly at the control.
• Create setup sheets, tooling lists, and work instructions from engineering drawings and solid models.
• Run first-article inspections and adjust offsets to maintain quality throughout production.
• Apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) to program and verify critical aerospace and defense tolerances to +
• 0.0002".
• Troubleshoot setup, tooling, and process issues independently to maintain productivity and part quality.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision instruments.
• Maintain revision-controlled program library per AS9100D requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality and Management to support continuous improvement and cycle time reduction. Requirements
• 7+ years of CNC programming AND setup experience on both turning centers and machining centers in a precision machining environment.
• Proficiency in Mastercam or Fusion 360 (required).
• Strong G-code and M-code knowledge; ability to edit and troubleshoot programs at the machine control.
• Ability to hold close tolerances of +
• 0.0002" on aerospace, defense, or medical components.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T per

ASME Y14.5.

• Experience machining superalloys and aerospace materials: Inconel 718/625, titanium, A286, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Familiarity with Fanuc-compatible controls on both lathes and mills.
• Ability to independently set up jobs from print through first-article acceptance.
• Prior aerospace or defense machining experience in an AS9100D environment.
• ITAR compliance familiarity. Preferred / A Plus
• CNC Mill-Turn experience (Doosan PUMA 2600SY or similar — sub-spindle, live tooling, Y-axis).
• Experience with multi-axis (4-5 axis) simultaneous machining strategies.
