$100,000 - $120,000 per year Job Details - Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CNC Programmer to join our vibrant team in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and instruments. Your expertise in CNC programming will be vital in ensuring the accuracy of our products and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities As a CNC Programmer, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Writing and optimizing CNC programs to create complex parts on 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines using CAD/CAM software. 2. Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models. 3. Loading raw materials into the CNC machines. 4. Setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring the manufactured parts meet all quality standards. 5. Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality. 6. Troubleshooting and resolving issues during the manufacturing process. 7. Collaborating with the design team and providing input on part design and manufacturability. 8. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. Qualifications To qualify for the CNC Programmer position, you must have: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming and operation. 2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical documents and drawings. 3. Expertise in G-code and M-code programming. 4. Extensive experience with CAD software, specifically AutoCAD, Creo, and Mastercam. 5. Familiarity with Windchill and Vericut software. 6. Strong knowledge of precision measurement tools. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 8. Strong communication and teamwork skills. 9. An ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. 10. A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is a plus.
