5-Axis CNC Set-Up Programmer - Soraluce Mecca Talent is seeking a highly experienced 5-Axis CNC Set-Up Programmer with specific experience working with Soraluce machining equipment . This is a senior-level machining position requiring advanced setup, programming, troubleshooting, and precision machining capabilities. The position will initially work on 2nd shift with the intention of transitioning to 1st shift in the future .

Planned transition to 1st Shift Compensation above $45.00 per hour is available and will be negotiated based on the candidate's experience, programming capabilities, and knowledge of Soraluce equipment. Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate Soraluce 5-axis CNC machining equipment Independently take machining projects from blueprint through completed part Develop, edit, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs Perform complex 5-axis machine setups Determine proper tooling, fixtures, workholding, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications Establish work offsets, tool offsets, and machine parameters Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary program or setup adjustments Machine complex and precision components while maintaining required tolerances Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, tooling performance, and machining processes Troubleshoot programming, tooling, machine, and quality issues Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges Verify completed components using precision measuring and inspection equipment Maintain accurate setup, tooling, program, and production documentation Follow all company safety and quality requirements Qualifications 10+ years of advanced CNC machining, setup, and programming experience Experience with Soraluce CNC machining equipment strongly preferred Extensive 5-axis machining experience Ability to independently perform complex machine setups Advanced CNC programming and program-editing capabilities Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures, workholding, speeds, and feeds Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and machining specifications Strong understanding of GD&T and tight-tolerance machining Proficiency with precision measuring and inspection equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience machining large, complex, or high-value components is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Compensation & Shift Starting compensation is $45.00 per hour , with the ability to negotiate a higher hourly rate for candidates with extensive Soraluce, 5-axis, setup, and programming experience . This position will start on 2nd shift , with the intention of moving the successful candidate to 1st shift in the future .
